The core values to assist UQBC to maximise its objectives are to:

  • encourage involvement and the pursuit of excellence at all levels, in the sport of rowing while upholding the equality, reputation and standards of the sport and its members, collectively and mutually;
  • to develop and promote programs and activities that play an active and significant role in contributing to the fabric and community of the University of Queensland;
  • to liaise and act as an affiliate with Rowing Australia, Rowing Queensland, The Queensland Olympic Council and any other related organisation to facilitate the above objectives.
