Founded in 1911, the University of Queensland Boat Club is one of Queensland’s most established rowing clubs, with a proud tradition of developing athletes and competing at the highest levels of the sport.
Based on the Brisbane River at The University of Queensland’s St Lucia campus, UQBC brings together competitive rowers across junior, university, high-performance and masters rowing.
Our club supports athletes with different rowing ambitions — from those looking to develop and compete at club level through to athletes pursuing state, national and international representation. Coaching, squad placement and new member opportunities vary across our programs and are subject to available coaching, crew and club resources.
UQBC also works with school-age and developing athletes where suitable programs, coaching and capacity are available.
